To serve, let it rest at room temperature for 20–30 minutes before scooping for the best texture.
Notes
Use fresh or frozen fruit: Both give great results. Frozen strawberries make a thicker soft-serve right away, while fresh strawberries need more time to firm up in the freezer.Blender or food processor: Any standard model will do the job. You don’t need a high-speed machine—just pulse and scrape the sides as needed until smooth and creamy.Yogurt variety: Greek yogurt makes the frozen yogurt thicker and tangier, while regular yogurt gives a softer, lighter texture. Whole milk yogurt gives the richest flavor, but nonfat Greek yogurt works beautifully too.For a creamier texture: Add a splash of cream for extra richness, but go easy or it will turn more like ice cream.Taste before freezing: Strawberries can vary in sweetness. If the mixture tastes too tart, add honey or maple syrup to balance it out.Mix-in ideas: Swirl in crushed graham crackers, mini chocolate chips, or chunks of fresh strawberries before freezing for extra flavor.Try other fruits: Blueberries, peaches, mangoes, or raspberries can be swapped in. Adjust sweetener as needed since some fruits are naturally less sweet.
