How to Make Refried Beans From Scratch
You can use canned beans for this recipe but, a few days ago, I wrote How To Cook Dry Beans Without Soaking or Using a Crockpot, which is a hands-free method of cooking whole, dry beans in a few hours. Throw in a few more easy steps, and you have ridiculously delish refried beans…and save the canned goods for camping trips.
Once you have cooked beans, get your healthy snack ON and make Refried Bean Dip. It’s basically my Refried Beans recipe, topped with a little Nonfat Greek Yogurt or vegan sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh chives, served hot or cold with tortilla chips. Kids go crazy for them and they’re great for parties too!
