I have a new addiction…cherry fruit spread. I’ve married it to my old addiction…nonfat greek yogurt. And now I’m going from zero-to-breakfast with only 3 ingredients in 60 seconds. It’s my Jam On It Yogurt Breakfast Bowl…and it rocks!
Jam On It Yogurt Breakfast Bowl
Until very recently, it never occurred to me to use fruit spread in yogurt bowls. I normally thaw frozen fruits and add them to my yogurt. The natural sugar and juices, once thawed, give it the perfect flavor and consistency.
Buuuuuut, on my last Costco trip, this (new-to-me) Crofter’s Organic Morello Cherry Spread landed in my cart. It’s a premium, reduced-sugar spread. I didn’t have to sample it, I just knew I’d like it. But guys…I’m actually in love!
This spread uses Fair Trade organic cane sugar and is loaded with cherries. I’m a little obsessed with this stuff right now!
Wanna make my Jam On It Yogurt Breakfast Bowls?
It’s this easy:
- Scoop 1/2 cup of Fage NonFat Greek Strained Yogurt yogurt into a bowl
- Stir in 1-2 Tbsp of Crofter’s Organic fruit spread
- Sprinkle a few whole and finely ground Wonderful pistachios
- Chow down…and be all like “oh, em, gee!”
That’s it! Oh, and you can make a few ahead and pack them for work or school…but you already thought of that, didn’t you?

I swear, the simplest things make me happiest person! I really couldn’t ask for much more than this healthy, busy-day breakfast, or mid-day snack, or movie-binge craving (I’ve done all three this week).
